Papa Bear's Northwoods Store is owned and operated by Bill and Shirley Brown. Bill is a successful taxidermist and Shirley has twenty years of sports retail management experience. The store, built with the help of friends in 1999, is located on U.S. Highway 12 between Baraboo and Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. A personal message from Bill and Shirley: 
Hello and welcome to our northwoods experience. With a little history we would like to share our dream with you. The outdoors is our passion and every chance we get we can be found biking, hiking rugged mountain trails, and downhill or cross-country skiing. Because of our love for the outdoors our store is a reflection of our lifestye.Bill & Shirley Finding and decorating our log home with rustic furniture and decor, gave us so much satisfaction that we decided to help others do the same. We proudly feature the works of many local artisans, and have spent many hours searching the countryside for just the right log furniture and decor, resulting in many unique, one of a kind creations that we have available in our store. 

Whether it is to decorate a single room in your home or cabin, or to immerse your entire home in the northwoods atmosphere, we are ready to assist you in your adventure. Our hearts and souls went in o building our custom constructed store, and we derive great satisfaction from helping others share our dream!
